The Taste of Oneida festival is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 3 & 4, 2011 at the Norbert Hill Center in Oneida, WI. The grounds open at 4:00 pm on Friday and will feature live entertainment on two stages, amusement rides, carnival midway and interactive games, inflatable fun for the kids and horse and wagon rides. Great food and fun is all right here so bring the entire family out to the Norbert Hill Center for a great time and one of the best values around.

The Oneida Casino main stage opens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and will feature local favorites the Rockin' Daddy's along with Wisconsin's favorite Tex-Mex, polka, jazz, blues and Zydeco band Copper Box. The Oneida Casino main stage opens Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and will feature another great musical line-up featuring Strong Medicines cultural rock show and blues band Big N Tasty. As a new twist, comedy team Mad Dog & Merrill present their comedy cooking show with delectable grilled foods which promises to make your mouth water followed by a special performance by the Oneida Smoke Dancers. At 6:30 p.m. Andy's Automatics takes the stage to perform their style of "smooth hillbilly music" followed by Pink Houses. "The 11 people who make up the self-titled Ultimate Tribute Band" perform hit after hit from Cougar to Mellencamp.

The WLUK Fox 11 Family Stage opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and features all night open karaoke hosted by Action DJs with special performances by Nicks Kid Show at 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 p.m. The WLUK Fox 11 Family Stage opens Saturday with scheduled performances by the Oneida Long House singers at 12:30 and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary presents their live show "Birds of Prey" at 1:00 & 2:00 p.m. Open karaoke continues from 3:30 till 8:00 p.m. with special performances by Mr. Billy at 1:30, 3:00 & 4:30.

NEW! - The OTIE (Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises) Cultural Corridor is a new educational/cultural component of the festival that will allow our guests get a feel of the Oneida experience. This attraction will accommodate; the Oneida Museum, an exhibit and shopping area, the Woodland Artisans area, with a variety of Native artists, arts and crafts for children as well as the Oneida story behind corn soup. This area will have interactive, hands-on and educational experiences for all our guests.

The Oneida One Stop Interactive Experience area has two large attractions that are housed under a 20 x 20' tent that consist of one full 360 degree 3-D Motion Simulator Module that twists and turns as you watch a 3-D movie inside of an enclosed pod. This attraction accommodates up to four people per ride. The second attraction is a full 15' slot car track with 1/8 scale model race cars that pits driver against driver in an action packed race where precision and skill get you the checkered flag.

The Taste of Oneida festival grounds are open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and from 11:00a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday

Parking, admission and live entertainment is free and the event is open to the public.
